On July 23rd, the 104th edition of Le Tour de France dropped its curtain in Paris. Christopher Froome from Team Sky claimed his fourth championship on Champs Elysees. The same day, Ethan Ruan, (Ruan Jingtian), the ambassador of Le Tour de France Events in China, presented himself on Champs Elysees as a special guest who did not only passed the passionate atmosphere of Le Tour de France to the audience in China, but also showed local people in France a confident and positive Asian image.  

On top of that, Ethan played an important role in the final stage, the one who rings the bell to announce the last lap of the race and cheers up the riders.

Having watched the spectacular performance of the riders, Ethan expressed his expectation towards Le Tour de France Events in China, “As the ambassador of Le Tour de France Events in China, I want to contribute more to the promotion of cycling culture. There are so many cycling fans. What I’ve experienced here in Champs Elysees is like a big party.  I do believe that cycling culture does not only speak for a green lifestyle, but also a stylish and international trend. I look forward to feeling the same passion back in China.”

Ethan, together with Chris Froome, will be present at the 2017 Le Tour de France ŠKODA China Criterium on October 29th in Shanghai Pudong.
